很多時收到客戶的查詢想要設計網站, 但郤又沒有詳細想過網站裡要有些甚麼資料及功能, 這是很難讓網頁設計人員理解你真正的需要.
通常製作一個網站, 就由網站地圖 (Site Map)開始, 網站地圖就有如建築的籃圖, 如果一間房子要起多高, 面積有多廣及用甚麼物料都不知道. 這樣是很難了解你的需要及報價
網站設計的收費基於工作量及時間而定, 工作可能包括頁面設計, Flash動畫製作, 相片修改, 資料庫設計, 程式編寫, 資料輸入…等等, 也並不是單單用頁數可以形容的.

創業需要有核心價值

創業絕對不是一件簡單的事！
要錢、要人、還要有一顆不死

的心！
財政獨立﹝Financially_Independent﹞是很多人的夢想。但只把創業看成是想要達到財政獨立的一種手段，那就是多麼的膚淺！
每個創業者對其「業」都懷有一定的理想、一定的看法的；就像父母對其子女的將來有所憧憬般…
「業」在古代等於創建一個皇朝。
「業」在今日就是創建一個商業王國；一個有組織性的商業機構；一個能不斷延績下去的商業活動；一個能帶給參與者﹝員工﹞前途的才能舞台；一個能創造社會價值的企業團隊。
而現在的我便是為了這些信念，來召集希望創業的「少數」志同道合人仕們，來共同組織一個「核心體」，再將它逐步發展成一個完整的企業團隊。我相信只有持相同信念的人走在一起，才有成功創業的機會。
我覺得組織一個「核心體」的首要條件就是要有一個充滿凝聚力的「核心價值」。但這個「核心價值」是不該以錢來衡量的。
不少人加入一個企業都是為了錢、為了生存，根本不關心所謂的「核心價值」。這些大多數的員工，或是社會裡典型的中產階級，久而久之成了資產階級的奴隸獸，或者成為企業的寄生蟲，而非企業的原動力。
反之，企業的「核心體成員」必須百分之一百認同它的「核心價值」並從一而終地維護它。這樣，這個企業才能喚醒其它奴隸獸。在一個企業團隊中，有越多的成員認同它的「核心價值」，企業的發展就越快；就算在逆境中，企業也更容易活存下來。
所以，企業的原動力是來自它的「核心體」，來自它的「核心價值」。
雖然「核心價值」看上去是個抽象的概念，但身為召集人，我有責任向我未來的合作伙伴們表明這個「核心價值」的內容。

作為 freelancer，因為收費是按 project 而非按時計的，時間就是金錢，收入跟效率成正比，提高效率對我來說十分重要。因此這個聖誕假期花了些時間用 Adobe AIR 寫了個 time tracker。
目前 AIR 上的時間管理軟件可謂五花八門，但沒有一個是完全合我所需的。Adobe AIR 上的 time tracker 有 Klok、Compuccino time track 和 Kronos 等，都是很優秀的免費軟件。當中我最喜歡的是 Tick 這個服務（有提供 AIR 版本，可同步至網站），可惜它是付費軟件，我倒是沒打算為了個計時器而每年付幾十美金。反正也想練習一下寫程式的技巧，所以就決定依 Tick 為藍本自己寫了個相似的 app。
如果以上介紹的 app 都不能使你滿意的話，不妨試試我的這個 app－Timer。它的功能很簡單－在開始工作時打開 Timer 並開始計時，工作結束後指定一個相關的 task。日後便可以在 reports 頁面查看你在每項工作所花的時間，及該項工作佔整個 project 的百分比。相信這些數據能助你日後更準確估計出每項工作的所需時間。

雖然我知道目前功能還是不太完善，以及有很多 bug，不過由於假期快結束，大概日後也沒辦法花太多時間在它身上，所以決定現在釋出 beta 版。對於那些會 Javascript 的 developer，大可以動手修改本程式。反正 source code 都是公開的，打開 C:Program FilesTimer 直接修改即可。
